Spring pizza with vegetables. Not only does it look pretty with the vegetables cut lengthwise, but it tastes accordingly. For years I have been cutting all vegetables lengthwise, not only because my great cooking role model, Olivier Streiff, does the same, but also because the aroma of each individual vegetable smells amazing.

Frühlingspizza mit Gemüse. Sieht nicht nur hübsch durch die längsgeschnittenen Gemüse aus, sondern schmeckt entsprechend. Seit Jahren schneide ich sämtliches Gemüse der Länge nach, nicht nur weil es mein grosses Kochvorbild, Olivier Streiff, dies auch tut, sondern weil das Aroma jedes einzelnen Gemüses umwerfend duftet.

Ingredients

  • 500g shortcrust pastry rolled out/ Mürbeteig, ausgewallt
  • 3 spring onions / Frühlingszwiebeln
  • 2 purple carrots / violette Karotten
  • 50g peas /Erbsen
  • 100g green asparagus / grüne Spargeln
  • 100g goat cheese / Ziegenfrischkäse
  • Horseradish sprouts / Meerrettichsprossen
  • Sea salt and pepper / Meersalz und Pfeffer
  • Aceto codimento and olive oil / Aceto codimento und Olivenöl

Instructions

  1. Cut the dough into three parts and brush lightly with olive oil
  2. Cut the spring onions, carrots and asparagus lengthwise and divide between the three pieces.
  3. Sprinkle generously with the peas, cheese and sprouts
  4. Season with sea salt and pepper and drizzle with a little aceto codimento and olive oil.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 220 degrees convection until crispy

    2. Die Frühlingszwiebeln, Karotten und die Spargeln längseitig schneiden und auf die drei Teile verteilen.
    3. Die Erbsen, den Käse und die Sprossen grosszügig darüber verteilen.
    4. Mit Meersalz und Pfeffer würzen und mit wenig Aceto codimento und Olivenöl beträufeln.
    5. Während 8 bis 10 Minuten bei 220 Grad Umluft kross backen.
