I’m an avid AI user, but I’m increasingly frustrated with what streaming services and radio stations are doing with it. Their playlist algorithms are echo chambers that play the same tracks in an endless loop.
So I remembered my qualities as a mixtape creator and scoured my collection of 2000+ in search of songs that the algorithms seem to overlook—gems that seem to fall through the algorithmic cracks.
In the last few days, I’ve created some playlists, each one for an hour. According to my eclectic taste, these are genre-spanning from rock, electronica, prog, soul to folk. That’s why you might occasionally want to skip a song that isn’t your thing, but maybe the next track has a chorus that you can’t get out of your head 🙂

Also erinnerte ich mich an meine Qualitäten als Mixtape-Ersteller und durchsuchte meine Sammlung von 2000+ auf der Suche nach Songs, die die Algorithmen offenabar übersehen – Juwelen, die scheinbar durch die algorithmischen Ritzen fallen.
In den letzten Tagen habe ich mehrere Playlists erstellt, jede eine Stunde lang. Entsprechend meinem eklektischen Geschmack sind diese genreübreifend von Rock, Electronica, Prog, Soul bis hin zu Folk. Deshalb möchtest du vielleicht gelegentlich einen Song überspringen, welcher nicht dein Ding ist, aber vielleicht hat der nächste Track einen Refrain, der dir nicht aus dem Kopf geht 🙂
