Ingredients

  • 2 hard boiled egges / hart gekochte Eier
  • 4 small gherkins / kleine Gewürzgurken
  • 4 cherry tomatoes / Kirschtomaten
  • Petersilie / Parsley (4 leaves / 4 Blätter)
  • 1 pack of aspic powder / Sülzenpulver (for about 7.5 dl aspic/ für ca. 7.5 dl Sülze)
  • 2 Tablespoons / Esslöffel Vinegar / Essig
  • serve with fresh bread / mit frischem Brot servieren

Instructions

  1. Prepare the aspic according to the instructions, typically dissolving the powder in 7.5 dl of hot (not boiling) water and seasoning with 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
  2. Pour one ladle of aspic into each of the four ramekins (about 0.5 cm of aspic) and chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes until the aspic is firm.
  3. Cut the boiled eggs into narrow slices, cut the cucumbers like a fan, halve the cherry tomatoes and place them on the aspic.
  4. Carefully cover with the rest of the aspic (depending on taste, do not use all of the aspic) and place in the refrigerator for about 3 hours until the aspic is firm.

 

  1. Sülze gemäss Gebrauchsanweisung zubereiten, typischerweise das Pulver in 7.5 dl heissem (nicht kochendem) Wasser auflösen und mit 2 EL Essig abschmecken
  2. Je eine Schöpfkelle Sülze in die vier Förmchen geben (ca. 0.5 cm Sülze) und im Kühlschrank ca. 10 Minuten abkühlen bis die Sülze fest geworden ist.
  3. Die gekochten Eier in schmale Scheiben schneiden, Gurken in Fächer schneiden, Kirschtomaten halbieren und auf die Sülze legen.
  4. Sorgfältig mit der restlichen Sülze bedecken (je nach Geschmack nicht die ganze Sülze verwenden) und für circa 3 Stunden in den Kühlschrank, bis die Sülze fest geworden ist.
