A simple but tasty apple recipe that goes well with other ingredients as a side dish but can also be eaten alone.
Ingredients
- 4 sour Apples (Cox Orange, Topaz)
- 1 Quince
- 6dl water
- A Piece of Butter (30g).
- 80g of Raisins
- 1 Vanilla bean
- Cinnamon, Cardamom and Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons of Cane Sugar or Stevia.
Instructions
- Cut the apples and the quince into small pieces and bring to the boil in the water
- Add a large piece of butter, the raisins and the seeds of a vanilla bean
- Continue cooking for about 12 minutes
- Season with cinnamon, cardamom and ginger
- Sweeten with cane sugar or stevia
- Let thicken and serve lukewarm pur or with selfmade Vanilla Icecream.
