I remembered the recipe while writing my blog About Roses.

Because I had read the biographies of Marie Antoinette and Mary Stewart by Stefan Zweig before and right after each other, this recipe is dedicated to these two queens.

The recipe with the roses is for Marie Antoinette and the one with the hibiscus flowers is Mary Stewarts.  The preparation remains identical.
