Lasagne with carrots / Lasagne mit Karrotten (English / Deutsch)

Instructions

1. cut the carrots in sticks of about 3 cm and cook them until they are done (e.g. 20 minutes in a steamer)
2. chop the onion in little cubes and press the garlic clove.
3. Fry the onion cubes and the garlic in olive oil until they are brownish. Add the bacon cubes and fry them until they are done. Add the minced meat and fry until its done
4. Add the tin of pelati (including the sauce) and the carrots. Season with1 teaspoon salt, ground pepper and Italian herbs, cover with a lid and simmer covered  for about 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
5. Cut the mozzarella in cubes
6. Melt 25 g butter in a small frying pan at medium temperature and mix well with 30g flour with a whisk.
7. slowly add the milk while stirring and bring to the boil. Let simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring regularly until the béchamel sauce has a creamy consistency. Season with 1 Teaspoon of salt, ground pepper and a pinch ground nutmeg
8. Pre-heat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius
9. Butter an oven resistant form and layer the lasagne as follows:
   1. Spread the base with approx. 3 tablespoons bechamel sauce
   2. Lay out with lasagne sheets
   3. Add a 1/3 of the minced meat sauce
   4. Add a 1/3 of the bechamel sauce
   5. Add a 1/3 of the Mozzarella slices
   6. Add a layer of lasagne sheets
   7. Add 1/2 of the remaining minced meat sauce
   8. Add a 1/2 of the remaining bechamel sauce
   9. Add a 1/2 of the remaining Mozzarella slices
   10. Add a layer of Lasagne sheets and cover with the remaining minced meat, then bechamel sauce und finally the Mozzarella
   11. Sprinkle with grated parmesan
10. Bake in the middle of the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Leave to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

1. Die Karotten in ca. 3 cm lange Stifte schneiden und kochen, bis sie gar sind (z. B. 20 Minuten im Dampfgarer)
2. Die Zwiebel in kleine Würfel schneiden und die Knoblauchzehe pressen.
3. Die Zwiebelwürfel und den Knoblauch in Olivenöl anbraten, bis sie bräunlich sind. Die Speckwürfel dazugeben und anbraten, bis sie gar sind. Das Hackfleisch hinzugeben und anbraten, bis es gar ist.
4. Die Dose Pelati (mit Soße) und die Karotten dazugeben. Mit 1 Teelöffel Salz, Pfeffer aus der Mühle und italienischen Kräutern würzen und zugedeckt etwa 45 Minuten köcheln lassen. Gelegentlich umrühren.
5. Den Mozzarella in Würfel schneiden.
6. 25 g Butter in einer kleinen Pfanne bei mittlerer Temperatur schmelzen und mit 30 g Mehl mit einem Schneebesen gut verrühren.
7. Langsam unter Rühren die Milch dazugeben und zum Kochen bringen. Unter regelmäßigem Rühren etwa 5 Minuten köcheln lassen, bis die Béchamelsauce eine cremige Konsistenz hat. Mit 1 Teelöffel Salz, gemahlenem Pfeffer und einer Prise geriebener Muskatnuss würzen.
8. Den Backofen auf 200 Grad Celsius vorheizen.
9. Eine ofenfeste Form ausbuttern und die Lasagne wie folgt schichten:
10. Den Boden mit ca. 3 Esslöffeln Bechamelsauce bestreichen
    1. Mit Lasagneblättern auslegen
    2. 1/3 der Hackfleischsauce darauf geben
    3. 1/3 der Béchamelsauce darüber geben
    4. 1/3 der Mozzarella-Scheiben dazugeben
    5. Eine Lage Lasagneblätter darauflegen
    6. 1/2 der restlichen Hackfleischsauce dazugeben
    7. 1/2 der restlichen Béchamelsauce dazugeben
    8. 1/2 der restlichen Mozzarella-Scheiben dazugeben
    9. Eine Lage Lasagneblätter auflegen und mit dem restlichen Hackfleisch, dann der Béchamelsauce und zuletzt dem Mozzarella bedecken
    10. Mit geriebenem Parmesan bestreuen
11. In der Mitte des Ofens bei 200 Grad etwa 30 Minuten backen.

Vor dem Servieren 5 Minuten ruhen lassen.
